CFR holds installations to the highest of standards and aims to always provide exceptional service. Traveling opportunities abound while working in this position. Installers will be working with all types of floor-covering products for commercial remodels and new construction projects. 

    Responsibilities
    • Complete all aspects of floor-covering projects, including demolition, sub-floor preparation, flooring installation, trim work and more.
    • Representing CFR in a professional manner while interacting with customers on the job site.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other contractors while maintaining excellent service through job completion.
    • Problem-solve issues that may arise in the field in order to continue work-flow and maintain deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with the installation manager, providing updates on project completion, unexpected job-site situations, etc.
    • Maintain company provided van, tools, and work environment as if they were your own.
    • Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints.
    • Interested in learning or have to experience in tile, carpet, vinyl, stone, polished concrete, resinous coatings.

  • Equipment Mechanic Technician

    The ideal candidate will possess experience in maintenance and assembling/ disassembling of electronic equipment and at least intermediate computer skills. We are seeking a Mechanic's Assistant who will be able to assist our lead mechanic to keep up the maintenance on our small engine devices, some vehicle maintenance, as well as minor building maintenance. Our ideal candidate will have both electrical and mechanical skills as well as small engine repair, hydraulics, and basic tool knowledge.

    The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for managing all aspects of flooring installation from floor preparation to coating. The FS must be knowledgeable in all phases of the installation and operation of all equipment, processes, and flooring materials.

    The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for managing all aspects of flooring installation from floor preparation to coating. The FS must be knowledgeable in all phases of the installation and operation of all equipment, processes, and flooring materials. He/she must be able to manage and instruct crews to accomplish the desired end result in accordance with the product quality standards established by CFR. 

    Responsibilities
    • Oversees all phases of the installation process, taking digital photos throughout, and responsible for ensuring completion of all required inspections.
    • Meets regularly with CFR project managers to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve outstanding problems or issues, as needed.
    • Assists the CFR project managers on pre-site evaluations to ensure that any site concerns are addressed.
    • Performs pre-site inspections on all projects prior to implementation to ensure that all facets of the project have been identified and documented to eliminate the possibility of potential installation problems. Ensures compliance with the use of all safety-related equipment on the job site as required by the OSHA and CFR Safety Programs.
    • Schedule and assign resources and team member responsibilities.

    • Manage materials on the job site.
    • FS is responsible for evaluating the performance of installation crews for each phase. Takes immediate corrective action when the workmanship is found to be sub-standard.
